‘WARREN BUFFETT’ THE TRUE HERO OF 21ST CENTURY

Warren Buffett is a hero because he had the courage to donate most of his fortune to charity. He is America's most beloved investor and one of the wealthiest people in the world. He is the primary shareholder, chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, which is valued at over 50 billion dollars. On 2006, he pledged to donate 99% of his fortune to charitable foundations. He pledged 31 billion to the Gates Foundations, and another 6 billion to other charitable foundation. He was praised, not only because he pledged a whopping amount, but also because he did not donate his money to a foundation with his name on it. He saw this arrangement more efficient. He only left 3 million dollars to his three sons and daughters. He wanted to give his kids just enough so that they would feel that they could do anything, but not so much that they would feel like doing nothing. He is 81 years old this year but he still has passion in his work and his life. He loves his work and really enjoys it. It is very impressive that he is still an energetic worker at his age. I admire his way of life, and his values, which inspire me to utilize my day in a more positive way. He has set up a great example for everybody in the world. I never thought about charity before he announced his enormous donations. He taught me that life is not about getting more, it’s about how much you can give. I believe he has the same influence on other people around the world.
